Ilika launches ORKA product family as interest in new battery applications grows
Ilika PLC (AIM:IKA, OTCQX:ILIKF, FRA:I8A) is targeting new commercial opportunities in defence and marine markets with the launch of ORKA, a dedicated brand for its deep-sea battery systems. The UK solid-state battery developer said the new range is designed for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), which are increasingly used for seabed surveys, monitoring critical infrastructure such as pipelines and fibre-optic cables, and military operations.
