Anglo American keeps 2026 guidance despite 5% fall in copper production
Anglo American PLC (LSE:AAL) maintained its 2026 production guidance after third-quarter copper output fell 5% year on year as extreme winter weather in Chile and lower-grade processing at Collahuasi weighed on operations. The FTSE 100 miner produced 174,900 tonnes of copper during the quarter, compared with 183,500 tonnes a year earlier, while year-to-date production slipped 1% to 518,500 tonnes.
